What we use
When you upload a LinkedIn PDF or resume, or type your details, we use that information only to create your report: your career map, plan, feedback, score and rewrites.
Where it goes
Your file is read inside your own browser. The text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) only to create your report. We never store your resume or LinkedIn file.
If you create an account
Creating an account is optional. If you sign in with your email, we save only what you need to pick up where you left off:
- Your email address, to sign you in
- The basic details you typed: job title, years of experience, city and what matters most to you
- Career paths you chose to save, and the plan we built for them
- Which plan tasks you ticked off
- Your LinkedIn and resume scores over time (just the number and target role, not the text)
This is stored securely with our database provider (Supabase). Only you can see your saved data.
What we never do
We never sell your information. We never share it with advertisers or recruiters.
Usage limits
To keep the service fair, we briefly count how many reports each visitor creates per day. This count isn't linked to your name or profile.
Course links
Some course links may be affiliate links. If you buy a course through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We always show free options first.
Your choices
You can use the tool without an account, and without uploading a file by typing your details instead. If you have an account, you can delete your saved data at any time from My progress. To close your account completely, or for any questions, email us at hello@rolecomet.com.
